Do I get an account immediately?
Yes. Create an owner account, verify your email, and create your first organization and property workspace. Your selected pricing plan follows you through that flow.
How does the 14-day trial work?
Your trial begins through Stripe Checkout. Stripe securely collects your subscription payment method, but OwnStay does not charge the subscription until the trial ends. Cancel before the end of the trial and you will not be charged.
Do you take a percentage of guest bookings?
No. OwnStay charges a monthly software subscription and 0% OwnStay booking commission. Standard Stripe guest-payment processing fees and third-party provider charges remain separate.
Where does guest booking money go?
Guest payments are separate from your OwnStay subscription. Each property connects its own Stripe merchant account, and eligible guest charges are created directly on that connected account.
Can a new property publish immediately?
No. New properties fail closed until property authorization is verified and required payment readiness checks pass. This protects owners and guests from an unverified listing being published or taking payments.
Will setup disrupt Airbnb, Vrbo, or my current site?
No production change should happen without owner action. Calendar feeds and domains can be configured and reviewed before the guest-facing property is published.
